CWI Investigations: Lisa and Tracy at Circus World (2018)

 

On July 31, CWI filed an emergency complaint with the USDA on behalf of elephants Lisa and Tracy for violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

 

After review of the footage CWI captured at Circus World, our experts determined that elephants Lisa and Tracy were both exhibiting signs that they are significantly compromised on their right sides, and that walking, or at least giving rides, is demonstrably painful to both elephants.
